फ़ुट ड्रॉप या ड्रॉप फ़ुट में रोगी अपने पैर का आगे का हिस्सा उठाने में असमर्थ रहता है। इससे चलते समय पैरों की उंगलियाँ ज़मीन पर रगड़ खाती हैं। फ़ुट ड्रॉप एक या दोनों पैरों में एक ही समय पर हो सकता है। यह किसी भी उम्र में हो सकता है। कभी-कभार फ़ुट ड्रॉप अस्थायी होता है और कभी-कभी स्थायी। फ़ुट ड्रॉप एक रोग नहीं होता है बल्कि किसी रोग का लक्षण होता है। फ़ुट ड्रॉप स्प्लिंट (खपच्ची) पहनने से आपका पैर सामान्य स्थिति में रहता है। पीडिस्ड्रॉप फ़ुट ड्रॉप स्प्लिंट टखने को 90 डिग्री पर रखता है और पैर को ज़मीन की तरफ़ झुकने से रोकता है। इससे रोगी के लिए चल पाना आसान हो जाता है और फ़ुट ड्रॉप के कारण पैरों की उंगलियों पर लड़खड़ा के गिरने की संभावना कम हो जाती है।
