Newmom Perineal Ice Pack also known as cooling gel pads, or postpartum ice packs, are designed to provide relief and reduce swelling & discomfort in the perineal area after childbirth. They are particularly useful for individuals who have had normal deliveries, perineal tears, or episiotomies.

Reusable material : Can be refrozen and used multiple times

Instructions for use

• Lay the perineal ice pad flat in the freezer and freeze it for one hour
• Always use the gel pack within the sleeve. Do not apply directly on the bare skin
• Gently place the covered ice pad against your perineal area, inside your normal underwear
• Simply move gel pack forward or backward to fit comfortably in your underwear
• Ice packs should typically be applied for around 20 minutes at a time
• Avoid pressing or pushing it too firmly, as the cold temperature will provide relief without excessive pressure
• After each 20-minute application, remove the ice pad and allow your skin to warm up for about 10-15 minutes before reapplying it. This cycle can be repeated as needed.
